Sheep Farm Tour

PAERANGI Hill-Country Sheep Farm Tour. Exclusive to SEEN AUCKLAND.

Paerangi is a 1000 acre, hill-country sheep and cattle farm, situated amongst picturesque limestone bluffs, hills and valleys of the north Waikato, approximately 2 hours drive from Auckland City.

Farmed by 2nd generation family owners, Malcolm and Pam Harding, a visit to Paerangi, home to 1300 sheep and 275 cattle is a once-in-a-life-time true Kiwi experience. Few visitors to New Zealand get the chance to tour a real working sheep and cattle farm with the farmer, let alone have the opportunity to share an authentic farmhouse lunch.

A highlight at Paerangi is watching the wily sheepdogs rounding up and bringing in the sheep for the farmer to shear in the woolshed. Maybe you'd like to try your hand at shearing too?
